DGH Corporation announces the D7000 series of seven-channel analog input smart data acquisition modules that communicate using the Modbus TCP/IP Ethernet protocol.
The D7000 series consists of modules that measure voltage (±25mV, ±50mV,±100mV, ±1V, ±5V, ±10V), current (±20mA), thermocouples (J, K, T, E, R, S, B, and C) inputs and a universal module that accepts all of the above.
The D7000 series can be connected to any 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port. The measurement resolution is 16 bits. Accuracy is ±0.05% of FS max. The conversion rate is up to 25/s. The input to output isolation is 500Vrms. Input burnout protection is 250vac. The modules contain a customer programmable digital filter. All scaling, linearization and calibration and communications values are stored in EEPROM, which maintains these values even after power is removed.
The D7000 series also includes a two-channel analog output module with 12 bit DAC resolution, programmable voltage or current outputs at 250 conversions per second. Modules with 15-bit digital inputs, 15-bit digital outputs and 7 digital inputs with 8 digital outputs are also available.
Additional D7000 series features: peer to peer (P2P) mode, cloud computing and email notification.
The modules are packaged in a 6” x 4” x 1.50” ABS case with plug-in screw terminal connectors and an RJ-45 cable. Each module requires +10 to +30Vdc unregulated supply. Rated performance is specified from –25 to +70C.
